About
Hi, I’m Dani Allen, a Chicago-born marketing professional and creative who loves bringing ideas to life through storytelling, strategy and thoughtful execution.
I recently earned my Master of Marketing from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, building on my B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Tampa. My background sits at the intersection of brand strategy, consumer insight, creative storytelling, and content production, and I’m especially interested in how strong brands turn an understanding of their audience into ideas and experiences that genuinely connect.
Through my work with brands, organizations and creative clients, I’ve gained hands-on experience across marketing strategy, brand positioning, content development, creative production, email and social media, and project coordination. I enjoy connecting the big picture of a brand with the details that bring it to life, whether I’m developing a strategy, coordinating the moving pieces of a project, or creating content that communicates a clear and compelling message.
Before beginning my career in marketing, I grew up playing hockey and later coached youth hockey. Those experiences shaped the way I work today, teaching me discipline, resilience, collaboration and how much can be accomplished when people are working toward something together.
Now, I’m looking to bring my combination of strategic marketing education and hands on creative experience to a consumer focused brand where I can continue learning, contribute meaningful ideas and help create marketing that people genuinely want to engage with.
At the core of my work is a simple goal: to understand what matters to people and turn that insight into stories, ideas and experiences that feel meaningful.
When I’m not working on creative projects, I’m usually exploring new places, keeping up with culture and trends, or finding inspiration in film, photography, fashion and design.
